About Us

Who We Are

A local and grounded school based on the British Curriculum at its highest standards.

The North Green School is a newly established Primary & Secondary School with a firm purpose; to provide families in Kampala with an affordable high-quality international education. The school has a primary section beginning from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6. In addition, the secondary section is also from Year 7 to Year 13.

We believe every child is unique and should be treated as such to bring out their full potential.

We achieve this by combining our experienced and gifted staff and team with a very low pupil-to-teacher ratio. Even though we push for excellence, we provide an atmosphere and structure that gives every child a sense of security so they can build a strong and comfortable foundation for their education.

We hold high expectations of our students in terms of effort and behaviour.

On completion the school will accommodate children from the age of 2.5 to 18 years, with a self-contained early years unit and well-planned primary, secondary school and sixth form centre.

We offer the British Curriculum to the high world class Cambridge Standard.

Our Mission
To create a culture of challenge and achievement where young people develop the focus, discipline and tenacity to maintain a competitive edge in an ever changing world.

Our Vision
We develop high achievers who take independent responsibility for their learning and for all aspects of their lives.

Why Choose Us

Values: The school holds to Christian values and we believe the spiritual and emotional growth of the child is as important as the intellectual growth. We value respect, responsibility, tenacity and accountability.
Learning: The curriculum is based on the content and progression within the National Curriculum for England. It is extended and enriched to ensure that children build a solid understanding of their environment and can apply their learning. Founders: The school has grown out of the well-established Mother Goose Pre-School and Day Care, which has served families in the area for over 14 years.
Leadership: We are excited about our leadership team who have been selected for their broad experience in the international sector, their creative approach to learning and for their track record in achieving strong results with children from Primary School through to A’ Level.
